Little did I know when I bought my first 3 finnsheep in 1982 that I would still be raising them 40 years later! It has been a fun journey. I will have 147 ewes lamb this year - all registered finns! My first finns were all white - like most of the flocks at that time. I now have all different colors - black, brown, gray, badger, and pied. The brown badger is the newest color in the flock. Jameson is one of the first brown badger rams born last year. I can't wait to see his lambs! Our year starts next weekend with shearing, with lambing starting on April 21st. Check back for updates!
